Grand Opening

Currently I have completed opening my etsy shop and my website store.

The book Phoenix Child has been completed and in the final stages of editing before being sent off to a formatting specialist.

I have the scene cards and preparation mostly done for book 2. However i couldn't wait much more and started writing already. Two scenes in and I already can't wait to show the juicy details coming later.

This book is set in a medieval/ victorian era world with a dark underbelly that no one in her world truly talks about.

I wanted to show how devastating the world can be. There's kidnapping, conspiracies, and human trafficking.

In the book The rich are the ones who are complacent and unwilling to change their disgusting habits.

Calida Rhodes is the main character and she becomes betrothed to one of the nobles in her world that has a good head on his shoulders for a change.

However, that doesn't stop those in the high society from getting involved.

Noblewomen who sneer and noblemen who's eyes linger a bit too long.

She is a huntress not a lady. Calida was made for the forest and the quiet. But it can be hard when her story is written for her. When she can't help but linger close to the man who she can't help but feel familiarity with.

In the next book, I hope to have the plot pick up pace. She's in high society and taught that her ways of living are not ladylike and to live with the nobleman shes fallen for, Calida must adhere to the practices.

There will be a bond with the queen of the country and a foreign prince who is fascinated with Calida.
